DIY Paper Party Hats
Instead of going to the store and purchasing pre-packaged birthday party hats, why not let your child’s friends make their own? All you need is construction paper, fabric scraps, markers, buttons and other decorative odds and ends, as well as scissors and glue. I’m betting that as a scrapbooker you have plenty of decorative scraps you wouldn’t mind parting with.
Help the kids cut out a basic shape for their party hat. Then stand back and watch them go to town drawing, cutting, and gluing their masterpiece together. You can even let the kids make multiple crafts for them to take home in lieu of goodie bags. These kids’ crafts are easy to put together, but will provide tons of entertainment for all the party-goers.
