Family Reunions and Scrapbooking

posted by supergrandma49

My family has an annual reunion each summer, and it’s great fun for me to put together something to remember the year by. I attempt to coordinate a special design and colors for each year when I customize this simple picture mat idea.
For this year, the scrapbooking supplies that I used were an original die flower, texturz texture plates, a shadowbox frame, some plain paper, sandpaper, a jewel, pen, and rub ons.
Instructions: Use a texture plate to emboss a piece of plain paper. Use sandpaper to highlight the embossed design. Glue the embossed paper to a piece of plain paper and trim to fit inside the shadow box. Mat the photo and adhere to the inside of the shadow box. Die-cut a flower out of plain paper and secure to the corner of the photo. Embellish with a small jewel. Use a pen to draw detail around the Flower. Apply a rub ons title and assemble the shadow box.
